We qualified from Nature Care College, Guildford with a Reflexology Diploma and our professional membership is with the Association of Reflexologists (AoR).
We both have further training in power reflexology; women’s health; pre-conceptual, pregnancy and postnatal reflexology, gaining an AoR certified diploma in this complex areas. We set-up Balance Reflexology as we have both spent many years working in high pressured jobs, and are very aware of how the effects of stress can impact on our health and well-being and how important it is to look after ourselves.
Reflexology works on the principle that the whole body, from head-to-toe, is connected. This connection is represented by ten zones, which runs front to back and head-to-toe throughout the body and are most easily accesible via the feet.
The reflexologist can detect imbalances in the body by working on the feet and then works on problem areas accordingly to help correct them. It is not a cure, more a helping hand for the body’s self-healing process.
Reflexology helps balance the systems of the body helping them work more efficiently which, in turn, speeds up the natural healing processes.
The Effects & Benefits
